How much will your family spend on new clothes for Easter Sunday? Did you know for the cost of your Easter clothes you could provide food and clothes to an orphan in need?
This Easter we’re challenging you to “Ditch the Duds”. That’s right, forget the fancy clothes and wear a t-shirt supporting our Mercy Nepal orphanage instead. Sound a bit rouge for Easter Sunday morning? It is. But what better time to give to orphans and call attention to the plight of orphans than Easter Sunday?
For every Mangali t-shirt bought, $11 will be given to our orphanage in Nepal. We hope to raise $2,000 through this campaign. .
We’re not just asking you to give to provide food for the orphanage. By wearing a simple t-shirt instead of new clothes on Easter Sunday, you’ll be raising awareness of the need for orphan care throughout the world! Start the conversation now with your family, friends, Sunday School Classes, and church families to “Ditch the Duds” as a group this Easter. Help us help the orphans in need.
To order, just download the attached t-shirt order form and return it to New Beginnings. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns. 662-842-6752.
P.S. Our “Ditch the Duds” campaign is actually part of a larger movement called “Forget the Frock”. Check out their website (link to http://forgetthefrock.org/) and ready Emily’s inspiring story of how one woman’s heart for orphans is raising awareness and money for orphans worldwide. If your church participates in our Ditch the Duds campaign, send an email to Forget the Frock and you’ll see your church’s name (and ours) on their Facebook page (link to https://www.facebook.com/forgetthefrock).
