Adoptive families looking for an opportunity to bless a New Beginnings (and possibly other) adoptive family, you have a GREAT opportunity coming up this fall. This year, Heart of Compassion will be having its 5th annual Heart of Compassion 5K on October 22nd. They are looking for families who are searching for opportunities to fundraise, and they are looking for volunteers with a compassion for children. Adoptive parents who took part in the 5K last year raised $5,000- $15,000 with just this one event!
Heart of Compassion is the Orphan Care Ministry of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Their goal is to share hope with the hopeless by assisting Christ-centered families and individuals whom God has called to open their homes to children in need.
