We announce a unique opportunity not only for some of the children from Taiwan but also for you, our supporters. For two weeks in July, 8 children (ages 7-10) from an orphanage in Taiwan will have the opportunity to visit Mississippi and experience the American way of life, but they need your help.

We are looking for host families in Northeast Mississippi to open their homes to the Taiwanese children during their visit to America. From July 18th until August 1st, participating families would house and care for the children while showing them life in Mississippi. All the children in the program are eligible for adoption.

To become a host family, you will need to fill out a free application and partake in a free mini-home study performed by New Beginnings. Also, the family will need to raise $3,000 to cover the travel expenses and necessities for each child. The group will be accompanied by a translator to assist in group activities. New Beginnings will sponsor fun activities during their stay, and in turn, you will make a lasting impression on a child.

If the host family decides to pursue adoption, the mini-home study provided by New Beginnings can go towards the final home study. Also, if you would like to participate but are unable to house the children, you can offer funds or your time to the host families raising money.
