About Us

Hello! We are Brody and Kelsey. We actually met when we were 2 years old! My uncle owns a business where Brody’s dad works. My dad also worked there for a bit. Both of our parents hung out/ran around together after work and on the weekends. So we were around each other a lot when we were younger. My parents moved away, for a while but the two of us got reacquainted at my cousin’s wedding once we were in college. We were both so busy with college life, sports, jobs, etc. that we didn’t hit it off immediately. A few years later, Brody messaged me through Snapchat and we went on our first date a week later.

We did the long distance relationship for a while then I got a job close to Brody’s hometown. Shortly after, he proposed and I said YES! We married 11 months later and have now been married for almost 7 years! We both love to hang out with family and friends. We enjoy going to the lake/taking our boat out. We love a good movie/Netflix night. We enjoy going to the gym together.

HI! My name is Kelsey and I am happy to introduce myself to you! I’m a girly girl by all means. I love shopping, getting my nails done, and doing makeup/hair. I enjoy lazy weekends, where I can sleep in and hang around the house. I LOVE to travel. My mom was a travel agent while I was growing up, so it was instilled into me at a young age. I look forward to traveling and making memories/discovering new places. I’m a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you I’m pretty friendly. I love to read, I believe education is power therefore I’m always looking to learn something new. I have been told that I’m very creative, super organized, and a natural born leader. I have a good work ethic and am very goal oriented. 

Hey, I’m Brody. I work as a general contractor and specialize in commercial/industrial construction projects. I enjoy going to the lake, watching football, and playing video games. I love to work with my hands building/creating things. I am very talkative and friendly, I make friends everywhere I go. I love hanging out with friends on the weekends. Going out to eat at unique, new places is definitely one of my favorite things. I recently bought a grill and have become very interested in grilling. I’ve enjoyed learning how to do it and practicing to perfect the art. I am respectful, a hard worker, loyal and not complacent. I thoroughly enjoy my job, I look forward to growing my family so that I can instill these same values into our children.

Our Home / Community

We live in a two story home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Our home is situated on family land with lots of acreage. Brody’s family lives around us (on the same road) in different houses, so grandparents and cousins will always be around for playing/exploring. There are trails on the land for riding ATV’s. Brody’s parents (G-momma and Pop Pop) are close enough to walk to. They have a big garden, chickens, and two dogs that love to play. They have a trampoline, a 4-wheeler, a side by side, and lots of other outdoor play items to make lots of outdoor memories with your baby! They also have future plans to install a pool! Brody’s sister, her husband and their kids are across the street (within walking distance) and have a cat that loves to play. They have four kids, so your baby already has cousins anxiously wanting to meet him/her and play! They have all kinds of toys and a water slide!

We have a large front yard perfect for playing. There are animals of all kinds on the land where we live. We regularly spot turkeys, deer, rabbits, hummingbirds, and all kinds of insects. We are about 15 minutes from the city where we get groceries, attend church, and do other activities such as shopping or going to the movie theatre. We are 12 minutes from the school where your child will attend starting at pre-k and going until 12th grade. Kelsey works for a university so your child will get a college education.

Family Activities / Traditions

We both come from average size families. We both have siblings that are married. There are already cousins on Brody’s side of the family. As for my side, your baby will be the first grandbaby and niece/nephew! They will be spoiled rotten by all though! We are involved with both our families and enjoy spending time with each of them.

Brody’s family activities and traditions include going to football games for the local private school, and for their favorite college team. They also enjoy grilling and hanging out playing cornhole or shooting basketball on Sunday evenings. G Momma and Pop Pop normally like to take everyone on a trip/vacation over the Christmas holiday break. We’ve been snow skiing, to Branson, MO and Gatlinburg, TN.

My family activities and traditions include taking a beach vacation together every few years. We also spend Memorial Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas together. At Christmas, we all enjoy watching Christmas movies, baking cookies, eating food, and of course opening presents. Every year, we have a fun camping weekend on Memorial Day where everyone hangs out, grills, rides 4-wheelers, and enjoys the outdoors fishing and hiking. For New Year’s we host an annual chili/soup cook off and dessert bake off.

Both families are eager to meet your baby and create new traditions with him/her!

Our Adoption Journey

We both wanted kids and always talked about it. We have had zero luck with getting pregnant and felt God calling us to adopt. Our view is: We have love to give, a home to accommodate, and family/friends that are supportive, so why wouldn’t we follow God’s calling to our lives? We look forward to growing our family and moving into this next chapter of life.
