We actually met online before it became popular 😊 Daniel sent me numerous messages asking me to talk before I finally gave in & responded. I am so glad that I did! Nikki is a loving mom and wife. She is always willing to give more to others than to herself. I admire her strength and determination. I have watched her grow more in love and faith during our marriage. She is my rock and the person I know I can depend on. She has one of the most loving hearts I have ever met. I know she will be a very loving and attentive mother to the baby. As I said before, Daniel is an amazing dad. He may not have thought that he would be, but I knew all along. He is such a caring dad & husband. He is very patient & loving. It has truly warmed my heart to see how he interacts with Caleb & I know that he will be the same way with this child. He works extremely hard to allow me to stay home & give us opportunities to travel as well.

We have lived in our home for the past 14 years. There are so many memories here like measuring Caleb’s height against the door frame. We are about to start building a house which we are very excited about. It will have more room outside for kids to run & play. And we have several friends that live in the same neighborhood with children.

Christmas Eve – One of our favorite family traditions is Christmas Eve – we go to church & then come home to change clothes. Afterward, we pick up fast food & go riding around looking at Christmas lights before we race home to beat Santa. Dinner – We always eat dinner at the table as a family. It is a great way to talk about our day. Christmas tree – We have started a tradition of going to a Christmas tree farm & picking out a live tree. It always seems to get bigger every year. Pumpkin Patch – Another one of our favorite things to do is go to the pumpkin patch every October to pick out a pumpkin. They also have a farm with animals & hayrides.

Daniel felt the Lord calling him to adopt several years ago but it took me a few more years before I was ready. It took us 8 years & 2 miscarriages before we were able to have Caleb. We have been trying since Caleb to get pregnant again with medical help but have not been able to. Caleb has been begging for a sibling, actually 2 brothers & 1 sister, for years. We want nothing more than to give him that. We know that this baby is going to complete our family.
